Reserving a Room at the Library
The Doddridge County Public Library has two spaces that can be reserved by individuals and organizations. For more information about the spaces and the accommodations, check out our page on our Community Meeting Spaces.
As a public organization, the Doddridge County Public Library is restricted with what the meeting spaces can be used for. Individuals looking to reserve a room should review our Community Room Policy to ensure that they are eligible to do so.
How to Reserve a Room
To reserve a community meeting space, please come in person to the library or call in at 304-873-1941. The librarian will ask you for the nature of your reservation and for the date and time range of your event to ensure that the room is free during that time. If you plan on needing any kind of accommodations such as using the projector, please specify this when reserving the room.
Reserving a Room outside of Library Hours
Room reservations do not have to overlap library hours. If you plan on using the room outside of normal library hours, please tell the librarian when making the reservation. Community room usage outside of library hours is subject to the discretion of the Library Director based on the organization's prior history or lack thereof. The individual responsible for the room will be given a keycard to access the building and/or a temporary code to lock up the building.
